So I’m in the local grocery store grabbing a sandwich for lunch. On my way to checkout, I pass a cooler full of water. Inside I see a few different types, but one sticks out: Blueberry Sport OWATER. I think to myself, “I’m going to buy this and be disappointed… it’s going to be one of those flavored waters that is either sickeningly sweet or grossly not sweet enough.”
Boy, was I wrong.
After tasting it, I couldn’t believe my mouth. FINALLY a sports drink that doesn’t make me feel gross after drinking it. I’ve been an athlete all my life played at the Division I level in the NCAA. I’ve been pushed to my limits and needed to replenish, both in games and practice. The goto “sports drinks” available always had to be watered down. We had a formula on my team: pour half out, fill with water, shake. I don’t need to do that anymore.
I LOVE OWATER.
On top of all of that, it tastes like REAL blueberries. The aftertaste would make one think that they just popped a couple of blueberries in their mouth. Nothing tastes processed or fake, it simply tastes like blueberry-infused water with the perfect amount of sweetness.
So thank you, OWATER. I purchased one bottle today with my lunch and went back tonight on my way home from work to pick up a couple of more. I hope your brand name will be plastered everywhere soon enough, right on top of VitaminWater!
