Softball with friends - it's one of the most perfect ways to spend a summer night. That's what WayCo Softball League founders Dan Burgess, Dan Hogan, Joe Dorr, and Connor Hanlon were thinking back in the summer of 2007 when they decided to get an informal league together with fellow graduates from Wayland High School. Sadly, Dan died unexpectedly the following March, but the league he helped to create was determined to carry on in his honor. Today, more than 200 players play weekly under the lights at Cochituate Field in Wayland, MA.
